The sixth episode in our Eighth Doctor Adventures sees the Doctor's memory erased, as the he is thrown back in time without his TARDIS. Meanwhile, the evil Destroyer awaits to release Abaddon from his eternal sleep...

It was from this episode that we finally began to embrace rotoscoping to show the Eighth Doctor and Catherine the Great in the same room with the Destroyer. The story also diverted from using K9 as a source of exposition and allowed the villain of the story to explain his evil plan at the end.

In a crossover with the BBC series "Strange", Canon Black appears as an ally of the Destroyer. We also included a cameo from former Doctor Who actor, Tom Baker, implied to be reprising his role as the Curator from the 50th anniversary special "The Day of the Doctor".

This episode featured footage from the following Non-Who sources:

  • Strange (multiple episodes)

  • Catherine the Great

  • Jonathan Creek (multiple episodes)

  • Invasion: Earth (multiple episodes)

  • Torchwood: End of Days

  • Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps (multiple episodes)

  • Love Soup (multiple episodes)
